4、
Nintendo no-doubt paved the way for other companies when they announced Super Mario Run a couple of months ago. Now with the game's release on the horizon Sony's joining in the fray with as many as six mobile games potentially releasing next year.

Sony will bring old PlayStation game franchises to smartphones in Japan from next year https://t.co/14eWl5PQ8E— Takashi Mochizuki (@mochi_wsj) December 7, 2016 Sony revealed yesterday that collectively they would actually be working on ten mobile titles, including the ever-popular PaRappa the Rapper and Hot Shots Golf.

So far the games are set to release in Japan, and eventually in other Asian countries will follow. Whether the games will come to the west next year remains to be seen, but I reckon the chances are good.

So far the six titles announced are PaRappa the Rapper, Hot Shots Golf, What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord?, Arc the Lad, Wild Arms, and Sora to Umi. NIS will apparently be releasing games based on Yomawari: Night Alone (the recently released survival horror/puzzler) and Disgaea.

The information is still very thin on the ground so we'll have to wait a little while to know more. What games do you hope to see on mobile now Sony's on board? Let us know in the comments below.
The Man and His Two Sweethearts

-
Lost Spaceships is a retro-styled space shooter created by independent developer Jakub Sakowicz that follows a pilot who is on a mission to save the universe. He'll need better firepower to achieve this though, so along the way, he'll look to acquire spaceships from pilots who've failed on their own missions. It's available now for iOS as a free-to-play title.

Lost Spaceships doesn't look to change up the formula of this brand of shooter too much, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Played from a portrait orientation, players will have to destroy a plethora of enemy ships whilst doing their utmost to dodge the returning the fire.

DokeV is an upcoming creature-collecting open-world MMO from the same folks who are bringing us Black Desert Mobile. The game was originally intended for launch on mobile, however, it has since switched to being a PC and console game first, with a potential mobile release afterwards.

It looks to be a notably different direction for the company. It's bright and incredibly cheerful looking as you can see in the lengthy trailer below. That's not to say Black Desert Mobile is a gloomy-looking game, it just is compared to DokeV but most would be to be fair.

It's also worth noting that the trailer describes the video as 'Actual in-game footage' which if true is incredibly impressive. Of course, as the PC and console versions are coming first so we can expect the mobile port to be less graphically impressive. However, Black Desert Mobile is an incredibly impressive game from a visual standpoint so I expect it would still look great.
